Wrinkle Jump Privacy Policy

Wrinkle Jump (“the game”) is made by Dakota Unrau (“I”, “me”). This policy explains what the game collects, why, and how you can delete it. In short, the game only collects what it needs to run the global leaderboard. There are no ads, no tracking and no selling of data.
What the game collects
When you finish a run, the game sends the following to its leaderboard server:
- A random account ID. The first time you play online, the game creates an anonymous account for your device. It isn't linked to your name, email, Apple ID or phone number.
- The player name you choose. It's shown publicly on the leaderboard, so please don't use your real name.
- Your score and run details: score, time played, rows climbed, Treat Toobz collected and zoomies used. These are used to rank you and to catch cheating.
- Your cat's appearance: the colours, pattern and shape you pick in the Cat Studio, so your cat can appear next to your score.
- The game version and your device type (for example “iOS”), to help fix problems.
Like any internet service, the server provider also receives your device's IP address when the game connects. It's used only to deliver the service and protect it from abuse.
What the game does not collect
The game does not collect your real name, email address, contacts, photos, location, advertising identifiers or browsing history. It shows no ads, uses no analytics or tracking tools, and never sells or shares your data for advertising.
How the data is used
The data is used only to:
- show the global leaderboard, including your name, score, rank and cat;
- keep the leaderboard fair by checking scores and blocking cheating and offensive names;
- keep the service running and fix problems.
Where it is stored
Leaderboard data is stored with Supabase (supabase.com), a cloud database provider that hosts the leaderboard. Your settings, best score and cat design are also saved on your own device.
Public information
Your player name, score, rank and cat's appearance are visible to everyone on the leaderboard. Offensive names are filtered, and entries may be removed if they break the rules.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your leaderboard data is kept until you delete it.
- Delete my data: in the game, open Settings (the gear button) and tap Delete my data twice. This permanently deletes your online account, your leaderboard entry and your submission history.
- Deleting the app removes the data saved on your device, but not your leaderboard entry. Use “Delete my data” first, or email us your player name and we'll delete it.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and doesn't ask for any personal information. Please choose a player name that doesn't reveal who you are.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
